Course Description: This course is designed to provide educators supporting this population of students (administrators, coaches, teachers, mental health, and paraeducators) with the skills and knowledge necessary to implement effective interventions and supports for students with intensive needs. Trainers will provide an in-depth immersion in the critical elements for working successfully with students with challenging behavior. Participants will apply the strategies as they learn how to implement them in their own settings.
Methods of Instruction: Instruction will be in various formats: lectures, large and small group discussions and activities, role plays, videos, and interactive experiences.
