Life Space Crisis Intervention – Part 1 Workshop

An internationally recognized, professional training, and certification program. LSCI offers advanced, interactive strategies for transforming crisis situations into learning opportunities for children and youth with chronic patterns of self-defeating behaviors. As a trauma-informed approach, LSCI views conflict and crisis as opportunities for learning, growth, insight, connection, and change.

This course will cover Part 1 of the full LSCI Certification course. Participants will learn:

  • Trauma informed, restorative strategies for talking to students experiencing a crisis and avoiding power struggles.
  • How to carry out each of the six stages of the Life Space Crisis Intervention process.
  • How to help young people who act out in stress, sparking explosive and endless power struggles using the Red Flag intervention.
